Guildmaster Instructions:

Setup of a guild at this point is vary simple.

  1. Download and install the CharacterProfiler and the GuildProfiler addons from the Addons page.
  2. Run WoW and login to each character and hit save from the character screen of each of your characters.
  3. On your last character you have in the guild, select the Guild List screen and hit Save from there.
  4. upload your CharacterProfiler.lua to the site.
  5. Goto the Guild Servers page and select your server and then your guild.
  6. Try to get the rest of your guildmates to install the CharacterProfiler Addon and upload their Character Information

If you have characters on other servers or in other guilds you can also upload them at the same time. In face you have to work at it to get it to not upload them. Sometime in the near future we are planning to make this site so you login and upload, then you will be able to choose which characters of yours that are not in a guild to display. You will also be able to choose how much information you want publicized while still being able to see all your info about the characters.

if you are running WoW on a Windows machine then you can use UniUploader to send your information to this website. This is done by Downloading UniUploader and then running it. When in Simple mode, you can set the URL on the settings tab to http://www.worldofwarcraftguilds.com/guilds/admin/update.php and then click on the Show SVs and make sure you have CharacterProfiler.lua checked. If you are using the PvPlog Addon then you also want to make sure you have pvplog.lua selected as well. Now just click the upload button and sit back and your information will be uploaded.

If you want to get more advanced then click on the advanced mode button. If you go to the Options tab, you will see a checkbox called "Auto-Upload on file changes". This will cause UniUploader to send the character info to the website whenever you logout. I also have mine start minimized and in the system tray so then all I have to do to start WoW is right click on the item in the system tray and off I go. When I logout, my info is automatically uploaded to the website.
